Breaking News *** Dad ate some real food tonight*** The doctor finally gave Dad the green light to start eating food again. He has to start with soft foods, so tonight it was cream of broccoli soup. After going rounds with a few doctors today, Dad wont have to have surgery and he should be released from the hospital tomorrow morning. I think after the last 5 days, if Dad NEVER sees a the inside of a hospital again it will be too soon! :)
Not much else happening around here other then visiting Dad. I am blessed to have a flexible enough job that I was able to leave work and spend most of the day with Dad and Mom. We even got Dad to play several hands of Phase Ten (now there's a journal entry moment!!)
On another positive medical note! Mom's white blood cell count before Chemo was about 100,000. Her blood work this week showed her count down to 5,000!! Incredible!! So things maybe extremely gnarly for a spell after treatment, but it is really working!!!!
Well I am off to bed. I am so freaking tired. I don't know what my deal is lately but I cant get over being tired. So nightly night y'all :)

Seth and I used to play Phase 10 a lot....especially when I was pregnant and was too sick to do anything else.
Glad your dad is doing a bit better. I hope he continues to improve and I also hope things go well with your mom.
You're tired? Why would you possibly be tired? It isn't like you have a lot of emotionally draining stuff on your plate right now!!! You are so silly.
It's hard to have family members sick, I'm glad your parents are doing better. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help!!
